The Vortex is a straight concave pusher that is mesmerising in the trolling pattern. This style of classic trolling lure produces an enormous bubble trail and is a great choice in any sea conditions. It has an explosive surface cycle and one of the most effective lures you could troll.
Like all the lures in the TIAMAT range, the Vortex is handcrafted and made from technology use in the aviation industry and incorporates the finest paua shell sourced from around the globe. The finish product is crystal clear, visually stunning and represents the pinnacle of the lure makers craft.
The Vortex is available in 3 sizes, in all 5 head designs shown below and in all of the 72 TIAMAT Lures skirt colour scheme combinations which feature the exclusive UV-NexGen technology.

While the Vortex does perform exceptionally well in several positions, sea conditions alter and boat configurations vary widely. Try the Vortex first in the Long Corner or Long Rigger position. Don’t be hesitate on placing the Vortex in the short corner position though as it produces exceptionally well there…..and it also it is great choice for the shotgun position. How can that be you may ask?…… the Vortex is a very special lure and if you only chose to trolled only one design the Vortex would be it.
